Urns out the front hub is one of those fancy generator + roller brake ones. No idea if the generator works, I'll have to download the manual and hook up a light for laughs.

I took the calipers to the frame and it was close to a cruiser rear end, so I pulled an old scwhinn frame that I had out and bolted it up. Then stuck an old rusty 26" wheel on it because it looked better than the 20"

Me too. I'll need to move the triple tree fork over and I need to see if I can change the drivetrain to have a coaster brake because it doesn't have one now. Anyone have a spare trike rear end I can check out? Maybe borrow parts for fitment before I go buy stuff that might not fit/work.

I'm ready to unload my little Lincoln flux core welder for a nice gas welder... I love chop 'n drop cruiser!

Can't you upgrade most decent flux core MIGs with a gas shielding?

headset is ALL wrong, but I bolted it up any way. Stem is way to long too, but it was what came with the trike. Bolted it all up to see what might come. I used a dual halogen worklight tripod (red tubing) to hold a seat to see where it might go and took some measurements. Seemed reasonably comfortable and pretty doable. Seems like I'll extend the toptube as well as make a support for the rear of the seat to extend the seat back considerably (as seen in the pics).

I think I have the right headset, but it was at home, so I'll bring it out. Also need to get nuts for the mid hub setup. I think I have it figured out so I can run a coaster brake hub and it will all work right, but we will see.

A buddy and I sublet a corner of a warehouse in Woodland for some space to work on cars (and bikes in my case). The guy we sublet from installed a lift so her could put his boat on it to store more shit under the boat Mad

Fork is what come off the trike when I bought it. Pretty sure it's the same one that I have on my huffman and that Adam has on a bike or two.

I did a bunch of body work on an old VW before (welding) but it's been a long time. I might need to hit up Greg for some assistance.

Seat is far back to keep it low. I could keep it in the normal spot, but it would need to be up high and like I said, I'm trying to keep it low. This trike originally had a hoop that bolted to the rear end to support the back of a huge tractor seat so I'll probably do something like that for the back.

While browsing the interwebz I saw someone that made their own front cargo bike and it got me thinking. It's the style like worksman make for vending. Basically need to put a head tube on the trike frame, then add a big bar for steering.
