Who am I? Just a guy with a boring civil service job that enjoys tinkering in the garage when he gets home. I'm glad you like it. Here is a link to the full Indian build that I did posted over at Ratrodbikes.

http://www.ratrodbikes.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=54&t=32708&st=0&sk=t&sd=a

The Indian was fun to make. I wanted as close to a spiritual Antique Indian Motorcycle that I could do without the -Super high cost
-Super high maintanence
-using off the shelf bike components for ease of repair.

$1700.00 in parts into it, 200 hours of my labor, but it's probably worth around $4000.00 now. But it's for me and not for sale. Too much fun. My Son gets it when I die, which is hopefully decades from now! It works just like the real 1911 Indian. Pedal fast, dump the clutch, go man go. Goes about 35 mph with it's gearing (no transmission, single speed) Gets about 130 mpg and is California Smog compliant. Is registered as a Moped with plates and insurance. Did I say it was fun?!?

Ah so you are the owner! Very nice bike indeed! I was drooling all day over it. The reason I asked who you were was because I didn't see your introduction from you in our introductions section. Glad to see you found our site! Come ride with us. We will do our best to keep up with you I promise!!!!!!! Very Happy

Owner, builder, slave. I was at the Turkey Day Ride at the Auto Museum with it. Had a lot of fun that day.

I posted a video of my bud Adam riding my Indian. He never rode anything powered with two wheels before.

Over the weekend I fabricated new handlebars that are wider sweeping and raked downward, fabricated new leading fork links that are 1.25" longer for slightly longer wheelbase and lowered the front end 1". Subtle differences but noticeable. The bike was a hair too short before. Now I like it a lot better. Easier to turn also. I ditched the old mountain bike handlebar stem for a smaller and stronger BMX stem that looks more the part.
